HOORAY!! HOORAY!! The Honey Bee & Pollinator License Plate has become a reality!! Governor Ferguson signed the bill authorizing it & other special plates on Tuesday, May 20, 2025! To the right of the Governor, representing WASBA is Tim Hiatt as well as Priya Basu from WSU Bee Program. Thanks goes to all those who signed up for the plates for when they become available, to those who wrote and called their legislators & testified in Olympia, to Northwest Policy Group, LLC for help in navigating the process & our Executive Director Martina Schmidt for her beautiful design! The Department of Licensing will begin to phase in the new plates in November. We hope to have them available then! Stay tuned!
