Local Clubs

Your local beekeeping club is the best place to start making a positive impact in your community and it’s safe to say they’re always happy to have more volunteers! Browse our Local Organizations page to find the club closest to you!

Public Service Points

Public Service Points are a key element of the Journeyman Beekeeper Program. A total of 35 points must be earned as one part of the requirements for applying for Journeyman certification.

Points may be acquired by accomplishing a variety of service-based tasks such as serving as an officer, director, trustee, or representative of beekeeping club, giving a beekeeping presentation to a group, performing a special program or activity approved by WASBA, and more. Learn more about the service categories and download our new PDF below!
