My husband and I are beekeepers in Northern California, Southern Oregon . In our orchards we are having major problems with pear slugs (sawflies). Washing and pruning out the larva from infested damaged leaves has become impossible. Are there any other safe ways to prevent / control these pesky insects ?
Possibly companion gardening to prevent or detour ?
Thank you for your time.
